What’s your site Built With?
30th April 2008 | Technology
Reading through the Go Media blog I came across a website called Built With. What you do is type your website’s URL in to the search box and the site displays a barrage of information and stats about your (and anyone else’s) websites technology platform and marks it out of 5.
The site looks at things such as ‘Basic Optimization’, ‘Framworks’ and even what type of stats the site uses to track visitors. Studio Eighty Six got 4/5 in both categories and although its hard to really tell what they base this on its good to know you’re doing something right.
Most of it will mean nothing if your tech knowledge isn’t all that hot, but what it is good for is getting an idea of what technology other websites are using before making a decision about your own. An little good resource for both designers and web fanatics.
